Get in Some Good Trouble
A spin-off of the wildly successful The Fosters, Good Trouble was slated to launch in early 2019. The Freeform team had a robust marketing campaign planned, with art primarily featuring the two leading ladies. But, the show title and its meaning were a bit vague for audiences. Fans didn’t always grasp the meaning of “Good Trouble” let alone its origin. We needed a simple, visual solution to clearly communicate the broad range of “Good Trouble” viewers would discover in the show.
Designed to live side-by-side with the primary key art, these simple graphic designs touched on a number of episode- and character-specific themes from the show. The bold typography, simplicity, and range of topics speak to Freeform’s unique approach to marketing their content. And the wink-wink of the copy helps to soften the tone and reinforce the humor of the show.
